wedding ring sets
Thursday, October 6, 2011 | 10:24 amOh, I love—love! The butterflies in my tummy, the excitement I feel when he takes me out—for us, even though we’ve been together for five years (!), our love feels just as it did on our first date. My guy is meant for me, and I am meant for him. So we both agreed to get wedding ring sets that match for our wedding. We think it’s something special we’ll cherish forever (and it’s less expensive than the alternative).
My fiancé actually bought my engagement ring in Huntsville, Alabama at a place called Osborne’s Jewelers. He went there on a business trip and also to visit his best friend, now soon to be best man. I normally tag along with him on trips, but this time, he encouraged me to stay home. I guess he had a good reason.
So now that we’re two months away from the big day (yay!), we thought we’d pick ourwedding ring sets wedding rings. Osborne’s Jewelers has a website so we started there. At first we were going to surprise each other—I pick his ring, he picks mine (keeping in mind the engagement ring of course). And it was fun, sneaking around and browsing Osborne’s wide selection.
But—my fiancé being the incredible romantic that he is, suggested we get matching wedding ring sets. That way his ring is obviously linked to mine in style. It’s a symbol of our unified life together…as one. You know that religious reference about two becoming one? I think I might add that to the scripture readings during the ceremony. We’d only know they were identical unless someone asked to see our rings, but that’s fine. It’s our special moment and we like it.
Osborne’s had so many to choose from. But we narrowed it down to Style# 39126OBTXWG-DS (because of the past, present and future reference)
and Style #9138OBFXWG-DS just because it’s cute. Both would look great with my engagement ring.
In the end, we chose Style# 39126OBTXWG-DS. My best friend, a graphic designer, actually designed our wedding programs with an image of these rings on our hands. Yes, we were hand models. They turned out beautifully with our wedding colors in the background with some fancy graphic design background (don’t ask me, I’m clueless when it comes to that stuff.) And we even managed to make last minute changes to our cake. The cake artist is going to add our ring design to the sides. I think it will be amazingly beautiful and delicious. Choosing matching wedding rings was a great decision!
There is no denying that a marriage can be the most joyous experience. The actual wedding day should be one of the most memorable events for everyone that is involved. This article has been put together to give an understanding of how to choose diamond wedding ring sets for women.
Before buying any diamond rings it is important to do as much research as you can, this would help to make certain that the money is spent wisely. Today the internet is an excellent resource to find information on the different kinds of diamond wedding ring sets that are available. No longer is it necessary to spend many days visiting and revisiting jewelry stores in person.
As there are literally hundreds of options in diamond ring sets for brides it is important to understand her tastes. Would she prefer a contemporary chic style or a grander more traditional look? How about an intricate design or a simple but bold option?
Take some time to consider the type of metal used in the ring’s band. In most diamond rings the stone is set in gold, this could be white or yellow. Though we often want to buy the most expensive metal possible for our fiances, do not overlook the options of silver or platinum bands as these can be immensely stylish.
The earlier you start planning the better chance there would be of finding the perfect wedding ring set. The shape of the ring should not be overlooked. A round or oval shape are popular options though you could also consider a pear shaped, heart shaped, or emerald shaped design.
